Moor Otters

Dartmoor National Park

We created and ran the Moor Otters arts trail in 2017 to deliver footfall for Dartmoor National Park in the UK to raise valuable funds for their initiatives. The trail was visited by over 100,000 people, delivered an estimated £1 million + in PR and marketing value, received more than 10 million social media impressions, was entirely self-funding and additionally raised £60k for conservation and education projects on Dartmoor.

The Otter sculptures provided an unusual canvas for artists to have some fun and to share important messages from environmental topics through to mental health and well-being. They also provided a fantastic medium for raising the artists’ profile in the public and creative domain.

The money raised from Moor Otters arts trail 2017 supported three key projects: the Junior Rangers, the Invasive Non-native Plant Control programme, and Erosion Repairs.
