Irish Injured Jockeys and Sensational Kids
Supported by The Curragh Racecourse, Under stARTers orders helped raise funds for the vital work of two fantastic charities local to Kildare, Irish Injured Jockeys & Sensational Kids. It is a collection of 21 life-size resin horse sculptures which have been exclusively painted by some of Ireland’s leading equine and contemporary artists and celebrities, and were displayed in and around Kildare.
All 21 horses were sold with all funds raised divided equally between the two local charities. On Friday 28th June 2019, on day 2 of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at The Curragh, 6 of the horses were sold at a live auction, in an unique opportunity for corporates, host locations, art collectors and anyone who loves horse racing both here in Ireland and around the world to support the work of the Irish Injured Jockeys & Sensational Kids by securing a superb piece of life-size equine art to enjoy for years to come.
